Tamitha ague
Director
Tamitha R. Ague, ACSW, CSWM, LBSW-IP, BSBA brings 28+ years of nonprofit leadership, legislative advocacy, and social work experience to the Missouri State Parks Foundation Board. She is the CEO of Right Directions, LLC and founder of Double Hearts Ranch at Mark Twain Lake, where she pairs equine-assisted learning with leadership development, experiential agri-tourism, and community engagement.
Her career includes serving as Executive Director of the NASW–Missouri and NASW–Alaska chapters; CEO of AVENUES; Executive Director of the Two Rivers Regional Council of Public Officials; Branch Director at FosterAdopt Connect; and City Administrator for Monroe City. A registered lobbyist since 2001, Ague has represented statewide organizations and helped secure millions in grants supporting mental health, foster care, food security, and community development.
She is active with Back Country Horsemen of Missouri (NEMO Chapter), Missouri Horse Council, Missouri Farm Bureau, Missouri Grown, and several Chambers of Commerce. Ague holds a Master of Social Work and dual bachelor’s degrees in social work and business administration.
